20 hands are better than one.

Founded in 2014, COOP ETABLI is a collaborative project made up of twenty designers and manufacturers. It creates accessible furniture using optimal materials and resources. With over fifty original products handcrafted with passion and care, there's a variety of styles to choose from.

COOP ETABLI values solidarity and sustainable development. Its mission is to create furniture for everyday outdoor and home use that will last a long time. Purchasing directly from local manufacturers allows pieces to be produced according to the customer's needs. Furthermore, this reduces the impact of outsourced production, promoting and generating more jobs. Using materials from the finest red oak to western red cedar, each piece is unique in its own way. All made in many regions within Quebec, the use of economical resources to develop their products is what sets them apart as a whole.

Working together as a team has also allowed them to value democracy, embracing equality within the workplace.

Within the team, there are four manufacturers/makers, ten designers, four support members and five honorary members. Each person plays a different role in making the brand what it is today. From designers such as Mario Burke who started off by making custom furniture as a machinist, cabinetmaker and woodturner, to Éveline Simard who is constantly motivated to find a balance between function and elegance in her designs, COOP ETABLI encourages teamwork and the inspiration that comes from artists feeding off of each other.

Having been given a huge platform to showcase their work, each designer and maker flourishes differently.
