Poppy Johnny-collar sweater vest

I really want to love this top, because it's 100% linen and it's a colour that really suits me. However, I've ordered the small 2x, and both have twisted side seams, as in one seam is more to the back and the other more to the front, like what happens on poorly made tees after washing, except that I haven't washed these. For that reason I am returning the 2nd one, because I don't know if it will get distorted after washing. Also this 2nd one has a thread that sticks out right at the corner of one side of the collar, and it bugs me, but I'd be afraid to trim it in case it made the knit run. It's not just a linen fluff that can be removed. I expect more from a $140 top. It's made in China, but I'm hoping in an ethical manner.



The small fits at 5'4.5" tall and about 120 lbs, though it could be a bit shorter in the torso. I found the navy linen tee from this brand is definitely too long in the torso and exposed too much at the arm holes.
