Every Kotoba jewellery collection has its own story to tell. From the drawing board to production, Hoi Yi Lai crafts each piece by hand, shaping a language that gives a voice to its wearer. In the hope of underscoring our individual beauty and value, the Honk Kong-born, Toronto-based jeweller transforms raw materials into wearable art, a true means of self-expression. This sculptural necklace represents the changes and feelings stemming from growth. The designer crafted each shape using a thin wire to make it as unique as its wearer's heritage, personality, abilities, and dreams. Delicately sculpted coils between irregularly shaped loops represent the challenges along our journey that influence the directions we take. A refined piece that celebrates who we are, and who we will be.
