Hoi Yi Lai, an emerging jeweller from Hong Kong now based in Toronto, sculpts and shapes each of her items by hand through the entire creative process, from sketching to production. Each of her Kotoba jewellery collections has its own unique story to tell. In the hope of strengthening the beauty and value within each of us, Hoi Yi Lai transforms raw matter into in wearable art, as a means for true self-expression. "Ginga" means "galaxy" in Japanese. Ginga rings are a reflection of planets, each as unique as the pearls used to represent them. The Ginga collection aims to capture the delicate nature and beauty of space.
