It was the desire to explore different aspects of design that drove Jonathan Dorthe, an architect by training, to update classics from our childhood. By playing with technology, shapes and materials, he reinterprets the game of checkers in a luxury design, combining traditional wood assembly techniques and modern laser engraving technology to create a set made of rich wood.
