Inspired by travel and landscapes seen on the Pacific coast, this hand-printed work captivates with its abstract escarpments and ocean blue shades obtained through marbling. It gives off a feeling of fluidity, further enhanced by the combination of ink and brushwork that shows the slight wobble of the artist's hand, and by the edges of the paper called deckle, left feathered as though torn by hand.
