Annie Axtell quickly fell in love with the freedom that silkscreen printing allows. Here, she likes exploring the colours that Mother Nature offers in various forms. Only mineral pigments are used in order to produce the dark textured ochre and black shades on this piece. Its abstract lines are inspired by typical Intaglio compositions and reinforce the depth effect of engraving and sculpture.
