Yusuke Akai crafted his first tea cup in Japan at just 13 years old. Fascinated by what he manages to create, he will never stop refining his art. His career and creations reflect his different inspirations, with a mixture of traditional Japanese and Chinese pottery, American industrial design of the 1960s and architecture. This salt cellar beautifully illustrates the meeting point that brings to life his minimalist, elegant and highly functional creations. It enhances any decor while serving its occupants to brighten their daily life.
