Through her work, Heather Long celebrates the human touch and beauty of imperfection. Nature and play deeply inspire her. Combined, they end up on sculptural creations that are both entertaining and functional. This cup with an oversized handle is made by coiling-accumulating contrasting clays that create a different abstract pattern every time. The artist left the cup body raw to provide a warm tactile experience and highlight the charms of natural clay.
