When creating Indigo Arrows in 2016, designer and member of the Peguis First Nation Destiny Seymour set out to revive an ancient tradition of her ancestors: creating vibrant and authentic decorative patterns. She now shares her passion with the FREED workshop in a collaborative mini-collection that brings together history, art, and fashion. This contemporary cushion revisits an ancient flint pattern in two graphic variations drawn by Destiny herself: asin, which means "rock" in Anishinaabemowin, and asiniikaa, for "several rocks." A captivating bridge between heritage and modernity in your decor.
