It s a gift for Christmas so haven't actually tried it. Looks great. Would be nice to have instructions or better yet a video seeing someone use it. Also, it arrived really quickly - great shipping experience.

Arbol Oyster shucker

To be clear: this block of wood does NOT shuck oysters. It does, however, hold the oyster firmly in place while you wiggle at the hinge. It did enable me, for the first time ever, to successfully open my oysters. (Tip: see Youtube for demo on using flat-head screwdriver to loosen the shell hinge. I recommend this product.
