A+J metissage pasta bowls

These bowls are lovely. A perfect size and shape, so pleasing to look at and to eat from. The glaze and finish are so appealing - I chose both of the two-coloured styles, though I have no doubt that the pure white one is delightful too. It is a joy to know that Amelie made these herself - I even received a thank you note for purchasing them, signed by her! Both bowls also feature the 'aj' logo, one imprinted into the bowl's base and the other on the underside of the bowl. Makes them feel properly and truly hand-made. Fabrique 1840 is another of Simons' imaginative and stylish collaborations with 'real' craftspeople. Bravo to all!

It is a pleasure to have received such beautiful handmade pasta bowls so very quickly. The bowls are perfect. Clean lines, beautiful textures, along with a handwritten note from Amelie, the potter. The efficient delivery of these delightful handmade bowls represents the best of both worlds. Thank you Simons/Fabrique 1840/A+J Metissage. A formidable collaboration!
